How do I install the Webflow Extension?
Install the extension from your Webflow workspace settings, then press 'E' in the Designer to launch it. Sign in with your Cookie Banner account to access your saved configurations.
Is my banner GDPR compliant?
Yes! All banners generated through our platform are designed to meet GDPR, PIPEDA, CASL, and Quebec Law 25 requirements. We regularly update our templates to stay current with changing privacy laws.
Can I customize the banner colors and text?
Absolutely! You can customize everything - colors, text, positioning, button labels, and more. Use the visual builder to see changes in real-time before generating your code.
If someone is in Quebec, will the banner always show in French?
No. Think of location and language as two separate settings. Quebec detection can apply Quebec consent rules, while the banner language can still follow the site language. If someone in Quebec visits your English site, they can see the English banner. If they visit your French site, they can see the French banner.
How do English and French versions of a site work?
Set the English site to English and the French site to French, or use auto-detect if each page has the correct language set in its HTML. The banner checks the site language first, then the visitor's browser language. A Quebec geo-targeting rule can also force French, but only if you configure that override.
