# Cookie Scanner: Free, No Signup, Any URL in 30s

## How to run a scan

1. Open https://www.cookie-banner.ca/tools/cookie-scanner
2. Enter a publicly reachable URL (any WordPress, Shopify, Webflow, Wix, or custom site).
3. Click Scan.
4. Review cookies, categories, security flags, and the compliance summary.

Most scans finish in under 30 seconds. The scanner loads the site in a real headless browser so it sees cookies set by JavaScript after page load.

## What the report includes

- First-party and third-party cookies
- Categories: necessary, functional, analytics, marketing
- Security attributes: Secure, HttpOnly, SameSite
- Checks against GDPR, CCPA/CPRA, PIPEDA, and Quebec Law 25
- Optional email or PDF export from the results screen

## After the scan
